Outline Review (for fiction writers)

If you’re a writer who likes to plan your stories in detail, and would like advice about plot, structure, and narrative arc, then an outline review can help you strengthen the foundation for your first draft.

I will provide you with an evaluation of your story’s outline, including comments on the outline itself and a 3 to 5 page revision letter. Advice will be provided on how you might strengthen the structure, plot, pacing, and any character development issues that are cropping up at this stage of the writing.

Should you later decide to book a full developmental edit then the cost of this service can be deducted from the final cost of editing.

The fee for this service is dependent on the length and complexity of your outline.

This service can also be combined with my coaching service. For example, should you decide you’d like some accountability while drafting from your outline.
